Thought i would try some mittens this year in crochet as i have knitted them in the past , I used a free pattern from online , however i think my next set i will alter the pattern a bit .

Sorry , I haven't blogged in a while , I am on break from school and I miss making my soap, we are running low at the Boeke household so I was back at it yesterday all day . This one, I used the swirl technique, it takes a while so I don't always have the patience to wait and see how its gonna turn out . This morning the first thing I did was cut my swirls , I love how it turned out . The smell of lavender is still lingering in the house , how relaxing , aaaahhhhhh!

New headbands , the first one in thick wool , will keep your ears very warm ! The next is a new woven stitch i learned and at the end i will add a large button to close ( pics to come )

My latest adventure is , dogsweaters . a friend of mine has several weiner dogs that collect large snowballs on there short little legs in the winter, so ,

she asked me to create a sweater to keep those big heavy wet snowballs off her babies . The cat didnt seem to mind modeling them lol
